Who would be interested in???

Now that I have the group going I would like to possibly run a ongoing themed campaign.

It would not be a mandatory show up and advance the game, more of a if you play someone you record the results. diffrent battles use diffrent points for diffrent scale of battle.

If there is any interest let me know And I will look into running a campaign proper and we can get going soon.

Thats the idea I am having. There is a map and every one has a place on it. To advance your place on the map you must fight against local defenders to take more land and assets inorder to claim a big V

Well I don't have a campaign going. It got kinda hard to have to keep track of all the resources for one thing. And another thing people had to play against other people, so if one person didn't show up the whole campaign slowed to a crawl. It was kind of fun but a more robust and even simpler idea should have been done. I mean, come to think of it, it could still continue.

I was thinking a simpler system of planitary conquest. X number of battle zones. Each player gets a percent of the land. When two players fight the result ends up on the map. If you dont play you cant win. But other than that is is just about having fun and seeing who can claim the most land.

Thats actually a pretty slick idea. So its like the map is more of an abstraction than like a game of Risk. That is great!

Well all I wanted originaly was all about claiming land but starting with one zone would not make sence at all. Both for the meta and the fluff. So I figure if We have a map with x number of zones each need to be fough over with a certian size of battle then when, Lets say you and me, decide to fight we make that fight on the map. So we roll off. Player who wins the roll off decides who defends and who attacks. So you win the roll off to go first and then you decide to attack grid 'g9' where I am stationd, grid 'G9' Is a small skirmish pre set at 1000 pts and then we fight. After a hard fough battle your massive horde of green skins manages to over run my dark eldar defences |Duh| and claims grid 'G9' for the orkish empire of cal. All hail the Waaagh. sound fun?
