And ya, the first thing I get will be the book and a box O' Black Knights or Death Knights or whatever. they are actually affordable now. I already have everything else I need for my army.

O sweet. We have all been playing fantasy every weekend so when you get your guys up and running and we can all have a fantasy game. My ogres may not like the taste of bones all that much but they make great stock for our dwarf stew. O who am I kidding... we will eat bones.

Of course. We play some fantasy every Saturday. Do you have any 40k left cuss we also usually play 40k. If you don't and want to play I have many spare army's that are playable. We play both 40k and fantasy most night but sometimes just one or the other.

On a side note I have 10 sword masters, 10 sea guard and 5 reavers for sale and since you took Coltens you may be interested in mine. The bigger those elite units are the better.

I was thinking around 30 for them all. If you already have Coltens island of blood high elves then using these guys you could boost up your ranks pretty well. That would be a great start to any high elf army.

I 'm going to switch from usuing Nathans high elves to daemons . I really like the look of slaanesh's daemonettes , mostly because their girls , and they are interchangable for both games c:

They are realy cool models. All the island of blood models are.

oh and with the vampire counts the new models u could make a really cool army of all skeletons, like with wight kings and lord krell

Skeletons are really over priced. they come 10 to a box instead of the 20 for storm vermin, 12 for chaos warriors, 16 for saurus warriors. I haven't looked at the stats for skeletons but I think the ones I named are better.

Skellies are reg-uh-lar mans but have the undead speacial rules. So immune to psychonlogy and unbreakable and whatnot. As of the 7th edition VC, skelletons are still overpriced compared to crypt ghouls. Ghoul spam is rampant in this Codex, hoping 8th will be more toward skellies and zombies. Can't wait!

And flammable if I am not mistaken lol.

The question is how many skeletons you need to run for them to be effective VS how much they cost $ wise.

Ya okay, I think its like 10 models in each box, I think they are the same price. Same price, same points cost. imagine skellies, take away the 5+/6+ and add an extra attack each + poison! Oh, and out from left field comes T4. Why do ghouls have T4? I don't know, but they do, they are stupidly the best Core Choice. Lemme drive the point home, listing the differences between the three:

Zombies:
-Stat line is basically 1's
-4 points each
-can be summoned easily for 0 points

Skeletons:
-man stat line
-8 points
-5+/6+ armour/parry save
(could mention spears for +1 points, but just wanna compare apples to apples)

Ghouls:
-+1 toughness
-+1 attack
-8 points
-no save
-poison


Soya, ghouls rock! They just would fit TOO well in my army's theme. I will only use them sparingly. Hoping 8th sorta makes all three more viable.
