Excellent! Okay. Stand by for information on various things...

First off: The game universe. I decided to make my own instead of using the one that comes with the game. So I'll explain a bit of it here:

A generic science fiction universe created as the human race expanded into the stars. As it expanded it protected its worlds under the name of The Solarate Empire. The sector "Solarate Fringe" is the edge of the Solarate Empire's control. This is where it encounters other star spanning empires, and their borders overlap with each other.

The Solarate Worlds don't only contain worlds controlled by humans. There are a smattering of other alien races that exist as well.

Each individual world is free to have any form of government, law and culture. There may even be nations of cannibals or slavers. The important thing to note is that the Solarate Navy (or other military branches) control the space between worlds. It protects each world that way, but anything internal is up to the world itself.

The Solarate Worlds are protected from each other and other things. But not itself.

Sweet! We have a grand total of 7 people now. All with varying abilities. I have a Flyer, a Rogue, a noble, a Merchant, a Marine, and an Army type guy. Taegen just joined so is obviously undecided so far.

I really want to get going this week. Look forward to seeing a first post on the In Character topic soon.
