I DON'T KNOW,Reuben,what should I get for my CSM army first,I need a small,but playable army

battle force is a good way to get going then get what you want from there

There's an idea Sage, don't JUST post something as simple as "I'm collecting SCMs now,"

Put something up that starts a discussion like "what stuff should I get first" or "what Chaos Space Marine legion should I play?" Or how should I go about painted my new plastic dudemans?"

That way people can respond and make a constructive conversation.



Getting back on topic, I would suggest (if not getting a battleforce) get the essentials. Chaos Space Marines in Rhinos. Always in Rhinos. Both Khorne Berzerkers AND Plague Marines are excellent troop choices. Get a Daemon Prince for HQ choice.

I hear thats the best way to go. I do not know much more about Chaos Marines but if you work toward getting those mentoined units you will have a great start.

... Ya, you'll get used to it. Space Marines have a lacking motor pool. They are still useful full, but if you want heavy support the best place to look would be devistators or Dredds. Oh, and Landraiders, but thats a given.

yeah space marines are not known for there ability to field good tanks...

except for land raiders!

That's the thing though, Land Raiders are like the best tank. Not for destruction, but potential destyuction. LRs are nearly indestructible at any range. They have mild anti-tank, but the fact that they can safely transport 9 Termies plus some kind of badass hero dude right where you want them. Its brutal to stop.

yeah i agree with you completely but i do believe the normal land raider can only carry 5 terminators.

Nah, its like 20 regular marines, termies count as 2. That sorta deal.

nope csm land raiders only hold ten models and 5 termies only space marines get that special land raider that holds like 16 models or 8 termies

dredds are acutaly elites for chaos space marines reuben by the way

and normal marines

also the motor pool isnt bad you just need the right amount, which im way to cheap and lazy to do
