marine crisis

arglblarg, i cant seem to stay interested in the vanilla marines for longer then a few days at a time, and i need to make them one of the other more special chapters.
what do u guys think:
Dark Angels
Blood Angels
Black Templars ( although upgrade kits are pricey for them)
Space Wolves ( i dont have the mutton chops)

Blood angels are very hard to kill!!!!!

Is there going to be a new Black Templar codex eventually? I thought I heard some rumour about it. I suggest them because BA and SW are too cheesy AND popular. Pick the other ones once they get updated. (Old stuff is lame sadly, but they will get updated some day)

Rough times. Ummmm, my next suggestion would be Space Wolves. If your in to that sorta thing. Other than that I would say play vanilla marines. Just put a lot of effort into making them interesting. Or settle with Vanilla, and enjoy the colourful rainbow of Eldar as well!

those are vanilla, but with cool fluff. there are lots of those, ultramarines might be poster boys but they do have the best heroes, and some bad ass models

Kinda sounds like you could play Excorcists as Blood Angels. It might work.

Ya I was thinking that, but I still figured this chapter still operated like most other chapters, having mostly bolters rather than all being psykers and having force weapons and all that. But ya, it works too.

i had a cool idea for a space marine chapter. basically they love machines, and instead of worshiping the emperor as god of humanity they see him as a physical manifestation of the machine god. there gene seed is mutated in such a way that they are repulsed by pure humans and can be at the best of times hard to work with. so basically lots of tanks and stuff plus tech marines/priests and there there librarians don't use the warp they use advance machines to perform similar abilities( simplicity)

thinking about it they would probably run off the blood angel codex so they have lucifer engines and use baal preds in fast attack
