Mitre only finds seald crates, their identification and contents labels have faded away.

You all step up the ramp of the boat. Its small inside, all in one open area you see several passenger couches bolted to a carpeted deck, a very small kitchenette, and several compartments. The cockpit is just beyond the couches. Through its main viewport, you see the large airlock door. It gives you a bit of a suffocating feeling, being that it lies between impending destruction, and the freedom of endless space.

Right away Heinrich can tell that this boat is in fine condition, probably completely ignored by its Bat-Being owners. Everything is coated in a layer of dust though, and some specs are dancing in the dim light coming from the glow of the boat's interior lights.

Suddenly several blasts ring out, an earsplitting creaking groan eminates from the slaveship's hull. The pain in your ears is purprisingly uncomfortable. All of you cringe to the sound of what you can only imagine is the slaveship's hull starting to tear apart. You all fear that only minutes remain before... something.... bad happens.

Fenris quickly runs on to the vessel and hopes his pace will be mimicked by the others

"Oh blast... here goes nothing!"

Fio runs in and hops over the back rest of the pilot chair, landing in the seat.

Okay there must be some things that are similiar!, If anyone wants to co-pilot with me, Ill take the help!"

Fio starts flicking power and ignition switches, making sure the throttle is off.

Irritated by the small amount of space and his failure to identify any important objects Mitre follows the others into the selected vessel. Contracting his legs, and scrunching up to fit through the doorway he makes it inside. Looking at Fio in the pilot seat he feels a slight twinge of irritation but knows that this ship would'nt allow him to pilot it regardless.

Silently crawling vertically onto the wall to get as far away from the others as possible he waits for a copilot and the launch to freedom.

"Well, lets get going I seem to remember something like this from my old school days. Course If somebody thinks they're better I'm not complaining."

Kruza sticks with everyone, slightly thinking ahead of once we get off this slave-boat. well lets hope they dont have any buggers on watch, or there just gonna gun us down. As Kruza enters he moves toward the close hatch switch. He sighs "god be with us..."

The hatch closes and seals shut. Heinrich, after a second or two of remember the proper procedure, reaches for various switches, knobs, and levers. Fiona watches him, a little nervous, hands on the controls. Although she wouldn't know what to do if the worst were to happen, no one will be able to say she didn't try valiantly.

The Life Boat begins its launch sequence. Out in the launch bay warning lights begin to blink, and in a few seconds, the big airlock door slides open. All atmoshpere in the bay escapes, and out of the main viewport you see the various crates leave as well. Into the black and forbidding abyss, you see hope for survival. Everyone waits nervously as the Life Boat's engines roar to life. You can feel violent vibrations shake the boat. You assume the slaveship is still being fired upon, even though by now you suppose it should be in pieces.

"Ok old man, youre on. Ill keep an eye on the vessel status... Cabin pressure stable, we're free from the dock. Whenever youre ready."

Fio breathes heavily and snaps in the straps across the pilots seat.

Hienrich looks over his side of the cockpit looking for flight preparation, sensors, nava-computer anything that could help with running the ship.

Heinrich activates the thrusters and the boat gently accelerates out of the bay. But before you could breath your first breath of relief the twisted remains of the slave ship suddenly explodes and engulfs the life boat in fire. The force of the blast shoves you further into your seat. Mitre claws at the wall creating a screetch that pierces your ears.

Debris impacts the boat's hull with dangerous effect. The heavy gravities on your bodies make your head spin, but from as your bloodshot eyes refocus you catch a glimpse of distant stars moving from the top left of the main view port to the bottom right. You also notice red lights appear on the panels.

You can tell by the sickness of your stomach and the odd angle of force that your are spinning out of control.

Action calms down a moment later as the blast subsides, but the uncomfortable spinning force remains. In addition to the red warning lights, an amber light appears and a console displays a message.

It reads,
THRUSTER AND LIFE SUPPORT DAMAGE SUSTAINED. AUTO PILOT READY TO ENGAGE. CONFIRM? Y/N

A compact keyboard begins to glow for convenience.

Fio runs her fingers across the various panels and holo displays searching for something to stabilize their situation.

At first nothing happens. The spinning continues, warning lights blink, anxiety builds. Text scrolls up the screen:

The shuttle's limited information is off putting. Your respective homeworlds are all located in the Solarate Fringe, and in the Asterion K subsector, so it is a little comforting to know you aren't on the other side of the galaxy.

The spinning stops, and you only feel a a slight force pushing you toward the back of the shuttle.

Hours pass. A red glowing object in the viewport becomes aparent. More hours pass, giving you time to rest, eat and dream of happier moments in your life.

As time goes on the object gets larger and more detailed. Almost possible for a keen eye to inspect.

lets hope theres water to land in... or this thing has anti grav jets for landing gear on it... where do i come up with these ideas? i could be an inventor!
