Mitre simply listens to the commotion, making no actions. Waiting.

Feeling the familiar sensation of a blast on a ship Rey slowly walks up to the bars and pears outside trying to figure out whats going on knowing that explosions can only mean a few things, either there under attack or something some were is malfunctioning.... both could be very helpful in escaping or pose a serious threat to staying alive....

Another shudder. The steel Bulkhead of the slaveship groans from stress of yet unknown forces. The ex-Marine can see only part of the corridor at the angle near the barred door. But you can all definately sense activity on the ship building.

The roar of a small crowd of people can be heard from some where else on the ship. Squeals and shrieks from the Bat-Beings, and even the occasional gunshot pierce your ears.

Fio becomes grows alert.

Weapon discharges!? Aww we're really going to be in it now

lucas looks around the cell

"this could end badly for us"

Mitre thinks to himself as his device translates Lucas's statement,
Loseing a few pathetic beings wouldn't be a inconvenience at all, I would quite like to see all these "things" disapear already.

The sound of commosion and confusion is the best thing Kruza has experienced since he got on this slave ride, hmmm i wonder if were being boarded, but what are a bunch of slaves worth?. Next Kruza cries out "hey! Hey! over here, were stuck in this cages!' After yelling out, Kruza piers his eyes close to the bars hoping for anyone to come running over..... and even better maybe have the key.

Fio leans back against the wall and crosses her arms.

I hope for all our sakes you arent trying to beckon over a bunch of equally malicious attackers, punk...

Without warning a close explosion knocks you all to your feet. Through the chaos you manage to notice the cells to your left arupt out into the corridor in a blaze. Just as you are stumbling to your feet another loud explosion sends you reeling again.

This time, as you stumble back up, you see debris strew about the corridor and the iron bars twisted and bent from shrapnel. There is enough room to step through!

OOC:

"Here I'll go first," Heinrich says picking debris off his clothes, "You lads probably have a few more years ahead of you then I do."

Heinrich steps through look around the alien ship looking to see if their are any similarities to the ships he's familiar with.

after picking himself up off the ground Rey slowly follows Heinrich out carefully scanning the hallway for any threats then observing the rest of his surroundings.

now i just need a weapon

Fio steps out, coughing out the dust.

We need to find escape pods or a shuttle bay.. some means of escape

Joins everyone else in examining the corridor.

Lowering himself Mitre rests down onto his endless amount of legs. Then quickly crawls up the side of the broken bars, around the corner, and down the corridor towards the group.
There creatures will serve as targets in case I run into difficulties. It's in my best interest to follow them using them as my personal shields.

Kruza follow's the others, his ears were almost bleading from the shock wave, and all this frustration has fatigued him, damn gotta remember next time not to get caught and thrown in a jail cell. As he follows, Kruza picks up a fist sized piece of shrapnel, meh its better than nothin.... He keeps a keen eye out for any surprises, He defenitly does not want to go back to a cell, even if it means a fist brawl to the death with a giant fuzzy bat!

In the corridor in all the mess you notice a few poor, charred slaves strewn about the place. Most lie motionless, but one slowly rolls around in agony. There is no humanity left in this one.

The scale clad noble observes the surroundings. On past adventures he recognizes that this is a type K Safari Ship. A 200 ton starship used for trophy taking (both real and photographic) expeditions to other worlds. Clearly the Bat-Beings have modified it to cage slaves rather than animals. Heeding Fiona's advice, Heinrich quickly remembers where the shuttle bay is located. He knows you should all start by heading down the hall and hanging a left, continuing forward will lead to living quarters.

Kruza's bent piece of metal pipe fits well in his hand. It must have been from one of hundreds of pipes that run along the ship's interior.

OOC:

Before anyone can react three Bat-Beings begin stalking toward you yapping their fanged mouths. Drool drips down one of them. Their winged hands raise out toward you eager to either murder you, subdue you, or worse!

COMBAT:

Heinrich looks around for a object he can use as a weapon, preferably with a shape similar to his cutlass. He drops into a lose fencing pose preparing to doge a strike aimed at him.

"Hope, you chaps don't mind getting your hands dirty!"

Rey scrambles into action trying to find something to use as a weapon and Readies himself for the coming attack.

"lets do this"

Mitre engages all of his legs quickly scurrying towards the bat creature on the right. Grasping at it with his front legs he pulls it towards his pinchers and attempts to slice its head clean off.

Fio raises her fists and prepares to brawl.

Cant be much worse then the drunk miners crowding the bars back home, 'cept maybe the low blows wont yield such an effect

lucas runs out of the cell to follow all of you and help.

Looks around for a weapon to use

Fenris slides around to the back of the left one while he is distracted by the others and attempts to knock the bat creature out by attacking the head.
